John “Jay” King V grew up in Struthers, OH with his parents, Jack and Colleen, and his sister, Jaime. Jay, a 2015 graduate of Struthers High School, pursued a degree at Youngstown State University. In 2020, he graduated from the university with a degree in Marketing Management and intends on pursuing a Master’s in Business Administration as well.

Jay joined the Gem-Young team in June of 2020. Starting off as an intern, he quickly moved onto a full-time position as a Risk Management Advisor and the Director of Marketing. Our youngest advisor has quickly grown into his position with passion and care to protect our clients assets and spread the Gem-Young name.

As the aspirations and goals for Jay grow, he remains true to his favorite pastimes: camping, golfing, and video games. From the woods, to the course (and the woods on the course), you can find this King giving a helping hand to those in need.
