Leo is a 1986 graduate of Youngstown State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He obtained his Chartered Financial Consultant Designation (ChFC) and Chartered Life Underwriter Designation (CLU) from The American College in 1989. He is a member of the Society of Financial Services Professionals and Ohio Independent Insurance Agents.

He began his career with Gem Young in 1985 and became president of the agency in 1993 and now serves as the Chief Executive Officer. Leo’s specific areas of experience are in Retirement and Estate planning. Leo has three boys, Leo Jr., Lucas, and Stephen, and his golden retriever, Bruce Wayne. He enjoys spending quality time with his family while also golfing, riding his Harley Davidson Street Glide, and personal fitness training. Leo has served on various charitable and civic boards through the years and is currently a member of the Finance Committee for the United Way of the Mahoning Valley.
